It has been nearly two months since my last blog post, as I have failed to feel inspired to sit down and share how my time has passed. It is not that nothing noteworthy has happened, on the contrary, I have had both a wonderful weekend at a local national park on a yoga retreat and spent several days in the country with Laura during a few days national holiday. The problem seems to be that each time, I returned to the city with the intention of sharing my mini adventures, but as I became surrounded by the mayhem once more any resolve began to melt away.\u00a0\u00a0It no longer felt worth sharing, I no longer had the desire or inspiration to write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet now, as the countdown to my departure from this city, country and continent ticks ever louder, I feel that some of that desire has returned. With an end in sight I seem to have unlocked some mental block in my mind, my life has become much more social and I am fully at ease here. Perhaps the reality of my leaving has allowed me to relax and enjoy what is left of my time here, as you always appreciate something more when you realise you will no longer have it at your fingertips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am very thankful for these last few months. Given the time, I have successfully set and achieved goals, taken the opportunity for personal analysis and pondering, and am clearer than I have ever been about those aspects of life that I appreciate most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At one stage counting down to leave, I am now scrambling to make the most of every last moment in this challenging, but beautiful place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
