Yesterday marked a pretty major milestone in my journey, being a year to the day since I stepped on my plane at Manchester Airport. My travels have taken me through so many different cultural adventures and introduced me to many mind-blowing experiences and people along the way. I have tested myself and pushed my comfort zone so much more than I ever have before.

You may have noticed decidedly less blog posts in the past few months. This reflects the change in my lifestyle, going from constant new surroundings and experiences, to the experience of living and working abroad.

I am currently still in Whakapapa Village, enjoying what is left of the ski season and beginning to ponder where in New Zealand I should head next. It’s a pretty awesome feeling to gaze over a country map and just decide where you would next like to live and find work.

Relaxing at the end of a ski day

I had planned to look over the past year to choose my best moments, but there have been so many I fear the task could take days! It’s safe to say my travels are still very much gifting me with happiness every single day and I look forward to sharing the next step of my journey when it occurs.
