I’ve arrived! π
I made it to the hostel without too much trouble today. I think I paid a couple of dollars more than I could have, but at least the taxi man took me to the right hostel.
The drive from the airport was a great glimpse into the Hanoi/Vietnam lifestyle. Β My favourite moments from that short trip have to be: seeing a family of four on a moped, seeing five beer barrels attached to the back of another and the ridiculously hazardous state of the electricity pylons.
Way to go nikki, it is an eye opener , it’s amazing how many they can fit on an old Honda 50, I loved Vietnam myself and can’t wait to see the piccys
Great news Nix – and I can sleep now π Looking forward to your virtual tour of Southeast Asia! Did you manage to get a drink from the barrels π x.
Well done, stage 1 going to plan:-) enjoy and think if us in cloud covered uk! I am just about to put my wellies on to take ty for his walk- he is sat looking at me wondering what is more interesting than taking him out π xx
Sleep well kidda and enjoy xxxx
That’s great to hear. Your adventure beginsπ. We saw a guy moving a 3 seat settee on the back of his bike, I don’t know how they do it. The challenge is how many can you see on one bikeππ. Live it to the max Nicki.xxx
Wow Nicki what a good start. I can picture the family of four on the moped. Don’t suppose you got your camera out? I’m a bit worried about the electricity pylons though! Did you manage to get much sleep on the plane or do you need to get your head down today? Looking forward to the next update. Enjoy. xxx
